Job Summary:

You are an experienced Grade Control Supervisor seeking a great wage, extensive benefits, and a company who prides themselves on safety. You will be responsible for implementation of Machine Control on our Pipeline projects in the Valemount and Blue River areas in BC



Essential Responsibilities



Utilize GPS and Total Station equipment for surveying activities

Create alignment and surface designs in CAD that are compatible with both Trimble and Topcon machine control systems

Setup and maintain a GPS network over long distances for both surveyors and equipment to use

Install, calibrate and maintain GPS systems in both excavators and dozers. (Trimble and Topcon)







Trouble shoot and repair and issues with the machine control systems

Delegate tasks to survey crews daily to ensure all proper data is collected for design creation

Work closely with the engineering group to facilitate revisions to the grade model

Engage with the Ground Disturbance team to support the development of CAD files and associated data for design creation



Qualifications:

Must have previous surveying experience working with GPS, Total Station and CAD programs

Prior experience working on pipeline construction projects is essential

Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Must possess a valid Driver’s License

Must provide a copy of a valid Driver’s Abstract



Work Conditions



Site based position - 6 days on 1 day off or other various shifts

LOA or camp based position

Remote locations
