Things move fast at BRP, and we need our new hires to get up to speed as quickly as possible. The HR Advisor will be charged with helping newcomers get through their first 100 miles and get our BRP yellow blood coursing through their veins. A successful onboarding will have a new employee enthusiastically integrating our culture and DNA into their daily work life as though it were second nature.

Thanks to your legendary interpersonal skills, you’ll be the main contact for new hires and hiring managers during their entire onboarding process. You’re a natural, passionate and proven collaborator, relationship-builder and project coordinator. Reporting to the HR Global Services Manager, you’ll work closely with the broader human resources team and the hiring managers to not only deliver an outstanding employee experience, but continuously look for ways to improve it.

And you’ll do it all while simultaneously managing an endless to-do list! YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPre-arrival coordination

In collaboration with hiring managers, you’ll create and manage onboarding and orientation schedules geared towards individualized orientation processes for all new hires

You’ll keep candidates engaged in the pre-arrival phase by keeping the lines of communication open

You’ll help our new hires get set up with everything they need on their first day

You’ll ensure the quality of all hiring mechanisms and tools

Welcome employees on their first day

On each employee’s Day One, you will:Take them on a department tour

Introduce them to their colleagues, buddy and manager

Explain the internal support structure

Introduce the various tools the employee will use or interact with

Organize Welcome Day and get-together events to foster networking

Ensure feedback loops along the way and champion continuous improvement

Regularly track, research, and identify opportunities for orientation, onboarding, and integration process improvements

Work with the HR team and management teams to implement any improvement opportunities identified

Work with the Global Talent team to establish a core onboarding curriculumYOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSYou have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Administration, Human Resources, Tourism, etc.)Minimum of 3 years of experience
