As a Financial Analyst 2 you will support our Health portfolio during our month-end financial close, preparing journal entries, GL account analysis, Funds-in-transit bank reconciliation, supporting balance sheet reviews and supporting the business and other stakeholders.

Your strong accounting skills and financial analysis will allow our business decision makers to gain a competitive market advantage.

Here's how

As a member of this team, you will:

Use your strong knowledge of accounting rules and principles to assist in closing our month end

Your GL account analysis will enable TELUS to have accurate financial statements building shareholder and investor confidence

Use your accounting knowledge to complete a Funds-in-transit bank reconciliation to ensure our bank accounts are properly reconciled

Collaborate with business and other stakeholders to understand new customer initiatives and evaluate impacts to accounting compliance and financial reporting

Communicate closely with finance peers and be the Subject Matter Expert and Single-Point-of-Contact for all matters related to EMR Accounting


You're the missing piece of the puzzle

French verbal and written communications skills required

Strong knowledge of accounting and accounting processes

Practical experience in month end close and post journal entries

Good working knowledge of Excel

Enrolled or recent graduate from CPA program

Strong analytical skills

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Ability to plan, manage and prioritize multiple activities while meeting deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships with internal and external clients

Proactive in dealing with issues independently and adaptable to change


Working knowledge of SAP

Knowledge of Salesforce

Knowledge of English
