POSITION SCOPE



CMG is looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused individual to provide exceptional service to both existing and potential customers. This position is an extension of the sales team and is a key component in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. As a CMG Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the liaison between our customers and internal sales, operations & finance departments.



RESPONSIBILITIES



Serve as a main point of contact for product information, quotations, order processing and/or troubleshooting

Process orders using the internal software applications, along with daily review of orders entered by the CSR team

Resolve customer concerns by working with internal departments and external carriers and vendors

Follow established processes and procedures to ensure accuracy of work and product pricing

Maintain knowledge of products and geographical locations of our customers across North America

Consistently achieve personal and team key performance indicators/goals

Assist with development and maintenance of standard operating procedures

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned



SKILLS & ABILITIES



Ideal candidate will demonstrate a team-oriented, “can do” attitude

Ability to professionally and effectively communicate both in verbal and written correspondence

Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment, while maintaining attention to detail

Ability to both adapt to and facilitate change

Experience supporting Canadian customers is a plus



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 3 years related experience in a Customer Service environment is required

Wholesale, Freight/Distribution and/or Manufacturing industry experience is desired

Experience utilizing Microsoft Dynamics and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a huge plus

Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
