If you’re studying Accounting you may already know a little bit about us, but you should also know that we are more than just taxes! Our students work in a variety of programs, including Scientific Research and Development, Human Resources, Client Services, Community Outreach, Information Technology and Criminal Investigations. Our jobs are a great place to improve your communication skills,

Why work with us?
As part of our Indigenous Student Employment Program, you will join a community of Indigenous students who are working towards their education and career goals. Through working at the CRA, you will:
- grow your professional network,
- refine your skills and learn new ones,
- gain experience working in an office environment,
- have a work-life balance through flexible work hours; and
- do meaningful and valuable work that matters to Canadians.
"When I was first hired by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) through the Indigenous Student Employment Program in 2016, I was a sociology major hoping to gain some office experience but I wasn’t sure what to expect. I quickly realized the benefits of working with the Agency. As I continue to work with the Agency five years later in 2021, I am supported and coached by colleagues and management, I have an excellent work-life balance, I feel valued for my perspective as an Indigenous person, and I contribute to Agency goals that are both interesting, and enjoyable. CRA has opened many doors to opportunities for me that are rewarding and career building, all while supporting my studies. It really is great place to work. I strongly encourage any Indigenous students to apply." – Aleena McLean

On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service. As a separate and large federal employer, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) supports and will follow this new policy direction.
As of November 8, 2021, all employees of the CRA, including new hires, are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless accommodated based on a medical contraindication, religion, or another prohibited ground for discrimination as defined under the Canadian Human Rights Act and attest to their vaccination status.
The requirement to be fully vaccinated applies to all employees and new hires, whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This condition of employment applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), and student hiring. Should you reach the point in the staffing process where it is necessary to verify conditions of employment, there will be a requirement to complete an attestation of vaccination status.
